"Dance Archives in JAPAN 2018" opens on the 24th of November.

This is the third installation in a series of reconstructed performances of works by the early pioneers of the Japanese dance world: a series which seeks to validate the origins of Western-style dance in Japan while exploring its present and future direction. This time, we will reconstruct works by SHOJI Hiroshi, FUJII Koh and WAKAMATSU Miki, choreographers who created new modern dance styles in the 1970s Japan and during the period of high economic growth.
This third instalment offers a programme packed with three distinct styles of choreography for you to enjoy.
