BALLET & DANCE
BALLET ASTERAS 2019 ~Inviting Japanese Dancers from Overseas~
OPERA PLACE
3 Aug - 4 Aug, 2019 ( 2 Performances )
Running time is approx. 3 hours including an interval
DETAILS
Japanese dancers are very active not only in Japan but all over the world. "Ballet Asteras", Ballet Gala held at the Opera Place of New National Theatre Tokyo, has been staged since 2009 with the aim to introduce Japanese dancers who are mainly performing outside of Japan and who have few chances to present themselves to the Japanese audience.
The total number of Japanese participants at this Ballet Gala since 2009 to 2018 has become seventy. Almost all of them are soloists or principals in their company.
To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of "Ballet Asteras", we have two performances this year and invite you to enjoy different programs each day. Don't miss this special occassion.
