NNT Opera Studio "Don Giovanni" will open on the 8th of March.
NNT Opera Studio was founded in April 1998 as Japan's first ever theatre-affiliated training institute for those seeking a career in opera.
During the three-year period, trainee singers participate in a specially-designed programme, which includes coaching in languages, vocal techniques and acting, and are given an opportunity to appear on the stage of New National Theatre Tokyo three times a year.
"Two× 'Romeo and Juliet'", the excerpt version of two Operas "I Capuleti e I Montecchi" composed by Vincenzo BELLINI, and "Roméo et Juliette" composed by Charles GOUNOD, and "Gala Concert by Young Opera Singers of the World 'LE PROMESSE 2018'" have been performed in 2018, and this time they will present "Don Giovanni" by Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART their final performance and the first step to becoming a professional opera singer in March 2019.
