Opera "Orfeo ed Euridice"
Orfeo ed Euridice is one of Gluck's masterpieces, based on the legend of Orpheus in Greek mythology, and one of the popular operas due to its dramatic interest. Directed by TESHIGAWARA Saburo, a choreographer and dancer whose unique sense of beauty has made him renowned throughout the world, this production was the focus of much attention in the media and on social networks for its beautiful fusion of opera and dance, and its symbolic stage that embodies a stripped-down beauty.
The production was conducted by renowned new-age baroque instrumentalist, conductor and producer SUZUKI Masato. Three singers, Lawrence ZAZZO, the world's greatest countertenor, Valda WILSON, a soprano excelling in Mozart and Baroque opera, and MIYAKE Rie, who has made great strides in recent years, as well as four dancers, SATO Rihoko, Alexandre LIABKO, TAKAHASHI Joe, SATO Shizuka, united to weave a story together in a performance with deep reverberations.

Reviews
Bachtrack ★★★★☆
Musically, it was a tour-de-force performance by Zazzo, who dominated the stage for most of the opera. He livedthrough the emotional rollercoaster from mourning to momentary hope, to despair and happiness again, withpower and a range of colour.

The dramatic excitement, combined with a sense of timeless, ritual mystery, was further enhanced by the highly expressive choreography for four dancers, the mesmerizing Rihoko Sato (created as an artistic collaborator) and Alexandre Riabko supported by Joe Takahashi and Shizuka Sato.
