NNTT's 2019/2020 Opera Season opened with "Eugene Onegin"!
New National Theatre, Tokyo opened its 2019/2020 Opera Season with a new production of Pyotr TCHAIKOVSKY's Eugene Onegin today.
We welcomed Dmitry BERTMAN as the director who is the founder and artistic director of Helikon Opera in Moscow.
Also the cast includes Russian opera specialists such as Vasily LADYUK, Evgenia MURAVEVA, Pavel KOLGATIN and Alexey TIKHOMIROV and Ukrainian Conductor Andriy YURKEVICH conducts Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
We hope you will be moved with this story of young couples told with emotive music by TCHAIKOVSKY and look forward to welcoming all of you for our 2019/2020 Season!
