New National Theatre, Tokyo (NNTT) announces the cast changes for Die Walküre and the double-bill programme Le Rossignol / Iolanta as below.

• "Der Ring des Nibelungen" Erster Tag Die Walküre
  IIMORI Taijiro, who was scheduled to conduct this production, unfortunately has had to withdraw from conducting this long piece because he is not yet in good shape after the surgery in December. In response to his withdrawal, the Artistic Director of Opera: ONO Kazushi will counduct the performances on 11, 14, 17 and 20 March, and JOYA Masahiro (Musical Chief at NNTT) will conduct the last performance on 23 March.
  In addition, the international artists who were scheduled to perform in this production will not be able to come to Japan due to the Japanese government's travelling restrictions from overseas.
  The conductor and cast will be replaced as below.

  Hunding: Ain ANGER -> HASEGAWA Akira

  Brünnhilde: Iréne THEORIN -> IKEDA Kaori

• "Le Rossignol" / "Iolanta"
  
  Due to the Japanese government's travelling restrictions from overseas, international artists who were scheduled to perform in the double-bill programme Le Rossignol / Iolanta will not be able to come to Japan.
  The conductor & cast will be replaced by the artists as below.
