A new production of "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" - a co-production between New National Theatre, Tokyo, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Salzburg Easter Festival and Semperoper Dresden - opened in Salzburg on April 13.

This Jens-Daniel HERZOG's production will be staged in Dresden in January/February 2020 and then at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan and New National Theatre, Tokyo in June 2020.
