An exciting new production of Carmen directed by Àlex Ollé has opened today. Ollé describes Carmen as a present-day woman and created the character of Carmen modeled after Singer Amy Winehouse. French mezzo soprano Stéphanie D'oustrac stars as Carmen and Artistic Director of Opera ONO Kazushi takes up the baton, tag-teaming with OLLÉ to sweep up the house in a passionate whirl.
