Due to the current Government's border enforcement measures concerning Omicron variant of COVID-19, it became difficult to continue preparations for the performances as planned.
Therefore New National Theatre, Tokyo has decided to change the programme, conductor and ticket sales for "Yoshida Miyako's Selection" as follows.

• Programme Changed

"The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude" by William FORSYTHE and "5 Tango's" by Hans van MANEN will be replaced by following works.

Prologue, Journey to the Desert, The Cave of Riches from David BINTLEY's Aladdin

*Grand Café from La Chauve-souris, Ballet by Roland Petit will be performed as planned.
*The performance for Works from NBJ Choreographic Group will use pre-recorded music.

• Conductor Change

TOMITA Misato will take the baton replacing Marc LEROY-CALATAYUD.

• Ticket Sales

We have rescheduled the ticket sales date. Booking opens on 22 January at 10:00.

We sincerely apologise to all our customers who were looking forward to the cancelled works for "Yoshida Miyako's Selection - The Greatest Ballets" and thank you for your understanding.

The pieces for the first part of the programme will be chosen by the fans' selection!
Those pieces were created by NBJ dancers who took part in the NBJ Choreographic Group and were performed at Dance to the Future: 2021 Selection.
Please select one work which you are most interested in, or which you would like to watch again from six wonderful works.

*The form for Fan Vote will be open on 21 December at 11:00 JST.
*Voting Period: 21 December at 11:00 - 27 December at 11:00 JST
*The vote is limited to one time only per person.
*The results of the voting will be announced mid-January 2022.
