The National Ballet of Japan gave a performance for the first time in five months
Japanese Fairy Tale Ballet for all the Family "RYUUGUU - The Turtle Princess" had its world premiere at the NNTT's Opera Palace today. This was the first performance of the National Ballet of Japan since we staged Manon at the end of February.
Based on a fairy tale from the well-known story of Urashima Taro, this new Ballet by MORIYAMA Kaiji depicts a dreamlike world beneath the sea and the changing images of the beautiful four seasons of Japan.
The performances are held after thoroughly implementing measures to prevent infection and spread of the COVID-19. Thank you for your cooperation.
RYUUGUU - The Turtle Princess is running until July 31.
