Due to the current situation related to COVID-19, it became difficult to continue preparations for the performances as planned.
Therefore New National Theatre, Tokyo has decided to replace a part of the programme for "New Year Ballet" in January and all the programme of "Yoshida Miyako's Selection - The Greatest Ballets" in February.

"New Year Ballet" scheduled to run from 9 to 11 January
The National Ballet of Japan will perform following three pieces replacing "Duo Concertant" by George BALANCHINE.

"Yoshida Miyako's Selection - The Greatest Ballets" scheduled to run from 20 to 23 February →"The Sleeping Beauty"

"The Sleeping Beauty" (Music by Pyotr Ilyich TCHAIKOVSKY/ Choreographed by Wayne EAGLING (after Marius PETIPA)) replaces the planned programme.

Also, the conductors for these productions are replaced by TOMITA Misato.
