The National Ballet of Japan will join World Ballet Day 2021 on Tuesday, 19 October!
World Ballet Day 2021 will recognise the extraordinary resilience of this art form in the face of the challenges we have all faced over the last 18 months, showcasing the breadth of talent performing, choreographing, and working on productions today.
The National Ballet of Japan is honored to be a part of World Ballet Day 2021 following the last year.
On Tuesday 19 October, join us LIVE on YouTube and facebook at 16:30 pm JST (UTC +9) to watch the live-stream broadcast from OPERA PALACE. We will stream the extracts from the stage rehearsal of our season's opening production of Swan Lake which will have a premiere on October 23.
Thanks to The Australian Ballet who have invited us to participate in this special event again this year. Please watch the full stream over at The Australian Ballet facebook page (@theaustralianballet) .
This event would be a valuable opportunity for ballet companies around the world to show the restart in the covid-19 pandemic. Let's celebrate the power of dance on #WorldBalletDay !
