The National Ballet of Japan will join World Ballet Day 2020 on Thursday, 29 October!
World Ballet Day 2020 will show and celebrate the performing arts (and ballet specifically) as the ultimate way of bringing people around the world together across borders and across languages - something even more vital in these challenging times.
The National Ballet of Japan is honored to be a part of World Ballet Day 2020 following the last year.
On Thurday 29 October, join us LIVE on facebook and Youtube at 15:00 pm JST (UTC +9) to watch the live-stream broadcast from our rehearsal studio. We will also stream the extracts from the dress rehearsal of our season's opening production of "Don Quixote" and Japanese Fairy Tale Ballet for all the Family "RYUUGUU - The Turtle Princess" staged in July 2020.
Thanks to The Australian Ballet who have invited us to participate in this special event again this year. Before and after our broadcast, visit The Australian Ballet facebook page (@theaustralianballet) to watch the entire World Ballet Day 2020.
