New National Theatre Tokyo's response to COVID-19 from 8 May, 2023, and beyond
We would like to thank all patrons of New National Theatre Tokyo, for cooperating to prevent COVID-19 infections.
Contingent on the status change of COVID-19 under the Infectious Disease Law, Japan government's "Basic Guidelines for Measures" and industry-specific guidelines will be abolished on 8 May, 2023. Based on this, we will abolish our "Guidelines for Prevention of COVID-19 Infection" on 8 May.
About ticket refund due to physical illness or infection prevention
Based on the abolishment of our "Guidelines for Prevention of COVID-19 Infections", we will no longer offer ticket refunds for physical illness or infection prevention after 18:00 on 7 May, 2023. Unless the performance is cancelled, tickets will not be refunded from 8 May onwards. Thank you for your understanding.
The New National Theatre Tokyo, will continue to take the following measures against infectious diseases from 8 May onwards.
- Anyone involved in the performance or an employee who has symptoms such as physical illness should seek medical treatment without continuing.
- Depending on the situation, implement mask-wearing and practice cough etiquette.
- Use ventilation and avoid crowding, close contact, and air tightness.
- Encourage hand washing and hand disinfection.
Until 7 May, 2023, if you plan to visit us, please continue cooperating with "[COVID-19] Our Prevention Plan and Request to Our Patrons."
