NNTT at Home has finished!
We sincerely appreciate your support. We look forward to welcoming to our theater again soon!

NNTT at Home - the free streaming service of New National Theatre, Tokyo - is now available on our website so that every theatre lover can enjoy our productions even in these difficult times.

We are streaming the full-length recordings of our previous opera and ballet productions on this website, with each performance available for a week.

Following a NNTT-born Japanese Opera "Asters", we look forward to presenting the four popular productions including one encore stream.

From May 29, we will be broadcasting Kenneth MacMillan's everlasting ballet masterpiece "Romeo and Juliet". After this romantic tragedy, Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute)" will be back to the NNTT at Home series in response to so many requests.

June 12-19 features Puccini's "Madama Butterfly" which is the most performed opera at NNTT. From the following Friday, you can experience the beautiful French Opera "Werther" by Jules Massenet, starring two world-acclaimed artists, Saimir PIRGU and FUJIMURA Mihoko.
