"Hatsudai Art Loft" is launched at New National Theatre, Tokyo
The Opening of the theatre exhibition "Hatsudai Art Loft" by the New National Theatre, Tokyo (NNTT) is on the 4th of July, 2019.
"Hatsudai Art Loft" is the space where you can enjoy the art working relating to theatre.
Since its inception in 1997, NNTT has presented world-class productions of Opera, Ballet, Dance and Drama. Now we exhibit scaled stage models, costumes and stage sets from our productions.
These are displayed in the public space mainly situated on the first, second and third floor of the building.
The "Loft" also includes a gallery where you will be able to get to know how backstage staff are working during performances. There are some devices which you can actually operate in order to experience the stage, lighting and sound crew's works.
The exhibits will be changed periodically so that visitors can make new discoveries every time they come to the theatre.
The exhibits are accessible every day (from 10:00 to 18:00) regardless of performances.
