In our notice dated April 7, we at the New National Theatre, Tokyo notified all that the period for suspension of performances etc. would be extended until May 10. The state of emergency declaration by the Japanese government and other developments, however, have made it difficult to proceed with rehearsals and preparations for the performances noted below. We consequently decided that we had no choice but to cancel these performances.

We offer our heartfelt apologies for these repeated notices of cancellation to all patrons who were looking forward to the performances, and would deeply appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Refund information for purchased tickets will be posted on our website later.

As for our further performances and events, we will continue to refer to the instructions and guidance from government-related institutions and relevant information, and notify patrons as soon as possible of our decisions.
