SOUTOME HarukaSoloist

SOUTOME Haruka was born in Kanagawa prefecture and began her ballet studies under SASAKI Mika and IKEHATA Mikio at the SASAKI Mika Ballet Academy. She won first prize in the first division of junior category at the 2009 Kobe Dance Awards and joined the National Ballet of Japan in 2010. Her repertory includes Clara in The Nutcrachker, Celeritas2 in David BINTLEY's E=mc2, Fairy Spring in Frederick ASHTON's Cinderella, Cupid in Don Quixote, Twyla THARP's In the Upper Room, NAKAMURA Megumi's O Solitude. She was promoted to Soloist in 2014.
