KOSHIBA FukunobuSoloist

KOSHIBA Fukunobu was born in OSAKA Prefecture and trained at Toyota Ballet School. He won second prize in the Berlin International Dance Festival TANZOLYMP 2008. After his career with Toyota City Ballet, he joined the National Ballet of Japan in 2009. He was promoted to First Artist in 2014 and Soloist in 2023. He has danced Cinderella's Step-Sisters and The Prince's Friends in Ashton's "Cinderella", Demetrius in Ashton's "The Dream", Four Princes and The Wolf in "The Sleeping Beauty", The Mouse King in "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King", Emeralds in David Bintley's "Aladdin", Paris in Kenneth Macmillan's "Romeo and Juliet", Gamache and Espada in "Don Quixote", Baron von Rothbart in Peter Wright's "Swan Lake" and Vicar/The March Hare and The Duchess in Christopher Wheeldon's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".
